Climbing is a very popular activity in Jura. All the famous Polish mountaineers used to train here, but boulder climbing does not have to be treated as an introduction to climbing much higher mountains.

Mountain climbers especially love such places as Dolina Kobylańska and Skałki Rzędkowickie, made available by Zarząd Jurajskich Parków Narodowych (the management of the national parks of Jura), as well as the ridge between Mirów and Bobolice, and the Góra Zborów reserve. In the north of Jura mountaineers can climb the "Apteka" boulder, Góra Birów in Podzamcze in the middle of the region,  and in the south of Jura all the boulders outside the reserves are available for climbers.
